The 2017 Grammy Awards which took place on Sunday, Feb. 12th, 2017 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, has announced winners in different fields.
This year’s Grammy winners in the Gospel/Contemporary Christian Music field include Tamela Mann, country music group Hillary Scott & The Scott Family, Kirk Franklin and country singer Rory Feek and his late wife, Joey.
Kirk Franklin, known for leading urban contemporary gospel choirs, including The Family, God’s Property and One Nation Crew, won the Best Gospel Album Award for Losing My Religion.Tamela Mann took home the Best Gospel Performance/Song Award for “God Provides.”, which was written by Kirk Franklin, from her 2016 album, One Way.
