ASUP Chairman,4 Others Abducted By Gunmen

The Chairman, Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics, Oyo State College of Agriculture, Igboora, Mr. Opadijo Olujide, together with his secretary and three other members of their executives were kidnapped by unknown gunmen  yesterday night on their way from a meeting  in saki.

Confirming the abduction, the Public Relations Officer of the state police command, Olugbenga Fadeyi, said the police has swung into action to rescue Olujide and the others.

He said: “Some lecturers were abducted at the Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igbo-ora. The police are on the top of the situation”.
