#COVID-19: Lagos state confirms 166 cases of coronavirus infection.

Lagos State Government, today 10th April recorded another death from complications of Coronavirus.

The Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, said this while confirming that the State recorded eight fresh cases on Friday 9th April.

He said three of the confirmed cases have been transfer to Ogun State, adding that the total number of people who have recovered from the disease is 46.

Lagos confirms 8 fresh cases of coronavirus infection on April 10, 2020. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Lagos State to be 166.

“3 of the confirmed cases have been transferred to Ogun State which is their place of residence.

“However, additional 7 coronavirus patients who have fully recovered have been discharged after testing negative twice. Total number of coronavirus patients who discharged in Lagos State is now 46.

He added; “We are, however, saddened by the death of another patient from coronavirus related complications in a private hospital in Lagos.
