WA is a Yoruba word that translates as COME—which in this context, serves to herald the visitation of God’s Spirit upon His beloved ones. This song is tagged SONG OF THE SPIRIT because it is an expression of our yearning for a fresh manifestation of the Spirit of God in us. As we sing WA, we invoke God’s promise as documented in the book of Joel 2:28 and we affirm the goodness that comes with his manifest presence.
