Prolific gospel minister and composer, Zamar drops a new song tagged “Ekpere”, a song about the power of prayer inspired by Matthew 7 vs 7 which says “Ask and you shall receive…” It is a Christian Highlife song that also has elements of Afrobeats.

Zamar born Ugochi Ijoma-wosu is on a mission to bring light to the nations with the good news as directed in Isaiah 42:5b and to win souls for Christ.
This song “Ekpere” is titled in the Igbo language which means “Prayer”, and it is the first single of our collaborative project called Jesus Talk.

Alex Flowz aka Obilor Nwachinemere Alex is a gospel rap artist and activist, A unique songwriter. Based in Lagos, founder of JAMM-CONCEPT, an online prayer, and soul-winning platform.

Zamar’s and Alexflowz’s prayer is that this song helps to build our prayer lives because a prayerless Christian is a powerless one.

Ekpere is dedicated to Zamar’s mum (Mrs. Ijoma – Wosu) as well as all praying mothers who gave us a great foundation for prayer…
