Interviewer: Your latest album “God you are good” has been making waves in the music industry. Can you tell us a bit about it?
Vina Ernesto: Absolutely! My latest album, titled “God you are good,” is a musical journey that delves into the profound themes of God’s love, grace, and faithfulness. Through this album, I aim to inspire and uplift listeners by sharing the transformative power of the Gospel. It features a diverse collection of songs, ranging from lively praise tunes to heartfelt worship songs.
Interviewer: That sounds incredible. Could you share some insight into one particular album or song that has garnered significant attention?
Vina Ernesto: Certainly! Now that you just mentioned it this album stands out “God you are good,” was and is a labor of love and an incredible investment. I poured my heart and soul into this project, and it truly became a landmark in my musical career. I wanted to create an album that would resonate deeply with people, so I spared no expense in terms of production quality and songwriting.
Interviewer: It’s intriguing that you mention an investment. Could you shed some light on that aspect?
Vina Ernesto: Of course. Making “God you are good” was an ambitious undertaking, and I wanted it to be a masterpiece. From the production team to the musicians involved, it required substantial financial resources. In total, the album cost over 15 million naira to produce.
Interviewer: That’s quite impressive! With such an investment, what were your expectations for the album’s success?
Vina Ernesto: I firmly believed in the album’s potential and had high hopes for its impact. While financial success is important, my primary focus was on touching lives and connecting with listeners on a spiritual level. I wanted the songs to resonate with people’s hearts, inspire them, and draw them closer to God. That was the ultimate measure of success for me.
Interviewer: And how did “God you are good” perform after its release?
Vina Ernesto: I am humbled and grateful for the response it received. The album surpassed my expectations in many ways. It received significant airplay on both local and international radio stations, and the songs resonated with audiences across various age groups. Several tracks from the album topped gospel music charts, and the album itself reached unbelievable numbers within six months of its release.
Interviewer: That’s truly remarkable. What do you think contributed to the album’s success?
Vina Ernesto: I attribute the success to God’s grace, first and foremost. Additionally, the album’s themes struck a chord with many individuals who were going through challenging times. The messages of hope, perseverance, and unwavering faith seemed to resonate deeply with listeners. I believe that when an artist pours their heart into their work, people can feel the sincerity, and that connection is what makes an album impactful.
Interviewer: It’s clear that “God you are good” has left a significant mark in the music industry. As you move forward in your career, how do you plan to build on this success?
Vina Ernesto: Building on this success means continually striving for growth and improvement. My previous albums were actually amazing talking about “Love Amaka” and “Feeling good” I aim to keep creating music that uplifts and inspires, always remaining authentic and true to my calling. I have already started working on my next E.P titled “Marvelous God” with four spirit filled tracks, and I’m excited to explore new musical avenues while staying rooted in the gospel genre.
