Prolific Nigerian gospel music minister, Okunade Adedeji serves a brand new gospel tune “Iwo Nikan”, titled in Yoruba [a language widely spoken in the southwestern part of Nigeria], a praise song simply translates to mean “Only You” in the English language.
The bilingual English and Yoruba Language rendition is a perfect infusion of contemporary syncopations.
This song represents Okunade’s testament to how God showed up in his life. He offers unto God this sweet praise song and affirms that God is the only and ever-present help in time of need. He clearly declares his total reliance on God to pull through every situation.
The Bible says “When you pass through fire I will be there with you. When you pass through waters it won’t overflow you.” – Okunade shares in buttress of his conviction.
The singer who is not a new face on the gospel music scene offers up this single as a follow-up to his 2019 “Alpha and Omega” release.
The song is amazingly produced by Odunayo Aboderin for Soundbakers production.
