- The CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa has promised to give South Africa returnees sim cards with airtime worth N40,000 and 9GB of valid data for two months. Mrs Abike who gave this declaration through Gabriel Odu for Media Unit of the Commission, while receiving the first batch of 187 Nigerians on-board an Air Peace Flight at the Murtala Muhammed Airport.
She further stated that returnees are to receive transport stipend as well as a soft loan from the Bank of Industry to aide those interested in small scale businesses.
Mrs Dabiri also added that a program of integration will be put in place in subsequent time. Officials of the Bank of Industry were on ground to brief them.“We are also going to profile them and for those who want to get any training, they will decide what kind of training they want to do and the Bank of Industry will be there to provide it”, Dabiri-Erewa added.
She commended the management of Air peace for their kind gesture,and said among the 187 returnees, 30 of them were children.
