Nigerian Gospel Music minister Precious Yaya drops a heartfelt song of worship and prayer tagged “We Wait On You”, beautifully produced by prolific gospel music producer Sunny Pee, “We Wait On You”.
As a child of Covenant and my Father being a covenant keeping God, I have learnt how to wait upon God and that has brought many wonderful testimonies for me over the years. I waited for good thirteen years before the Lord blessed my lovely and God-fearing-husband and I with our first child. While we were waiting, we encountered God’s healing in different areas of our lives.
This song captures my moment of trials of faith. For many years of waiting, I was inspired by the Holy Spirit to put up some inspirational songs and I recorded them on my phone and some electronic devices. Though the vision was not clear then, yet, I believed in God that spoke to me and I kept on praying about it. One day, the vision became clearer to me that God wanted me to use those songs to minister life to others who are currently going through similar ordeal and those that would still have to journey through the same path in the future.
I soon realized that God wants others to benefit from the same grace that gave me bundles of joy after 13 years of childlessness but I felt like I was not well equipped to deliver the mandate until when the vision started affecting my purpose and it looks like many of my plans or goal set has been held up for some reason I don’t understand. One fateful day, I felt a prompting in my spirit saying “I gave you those songs for a purpose.” Then I knew, it was high time to answer the call and get these songs across the globe. Thanks to God that He answered my prayers and surrounded me with people that would help in accomplishing the mission.
I am using this music to encourage everyone believing God for one miracle or the other, to trust Him absolutely. I want you to know that God hears your cry and He will work you through patient to receive your miracle. As you listen to this music, your hour has come for the healing, power and deliverance you have been praying for… Just keep up your faith and continue working with Him. Shalom.” Precious Yaya.
