Body Of Missing Navy Commander Found Buried In Shallow Grave

The body of Commandant of the Armed Forces Command and Staff College Secondary School, has been found.

O.O. Ogundana a Commodore in the Nigerian Navy based in Jaji, Kaduna state reportedly went missing on Wednesday September 12th, 2019.

She  was confirmed missing when she did not show up for work on Monday.

The decomposing body  was found inside an abandoned shallow well near the Deeper life Church in Jaji cantonment, Kaduna state.

Her corpse was reportedly dismembered and put in a ‘Ghana must go bag’ before being dumped in the well.

According to sources in Jaji who pleaded anonymity, “When the military officer was not seen, efforts were made to reach her via her telephone but it was discovered that the phone was left in her house located in the cantonment which was locked.

“The door to her room was forced open because the phone was ringing inside the sitting room and efforts to reach her other numbers failed.

“There were also blood stains on her beddings and clothes as well as on the floor from the bedroom to the bathroom and her vehicle, a Toyota SUV was also missing.”

She was allegedly killed by a man who also works as a teacher in the school where Ms Ogundana was the Commandant.

The principal suspect, named Simon Bernard, according to our sources, claimed to have been in an extra marital affair with the deceased officer.

The suspect, who allegedly confessed to the murder, said he did it because she betrayed his trust by removing him as the chairman of the school’s Parent Teachers Association. He also allegedly accused her of failing to fulfill a N2.5 million promise she made to him.

Her decomposing body was found at about 12:45pm Sunday afternoon.  She is reportedly survived by a husband and 3 children.
