MUSIC: Segun Hunter – Praise Medley & Blessing @merchantcolony

Prolific and unique pro-Lapsteel guitarist Odesina Olusegun popularly known as  Segun Hunter debuts with two new Singles tagged “Blessings” & “Praise Medley”.
These two tracks “Blessings” & “Praise Medley” are very sweet and melodious songs with a feel of African percussion laced with skillful Lapsteel guitar expression.
Speaking concerning the two singles “Blessing” was inspired some years back when Dr. Yinka Ayefele sang the song on stage and told Segun to take a solo on it.
“I did the solo and everyone was overwhelmed by it, so I decided to release the work as a single using African percussion and applied African touch on my Lapsteel, – Segun.
For the Praise Medley, I received the inspiration during one of my personal night rehearsal…The holy spirit ministered to me to put some songs down and create a track using the songs Segun Hunter concluded.
About Artiste
Segun Odesina is a talented, versatile, unique and professional lap steel guitarist whose passion for the lap steel guitar started in the middle 90s.

In his quest for more knowledge musically, he enrolled for a music course in the department of Music Technology at the Polytechnic of Ibadan in 2009.

Segun Hunter has produced 3 musical tracks using the Lapsteel guitar, to the Glory of God.

Segun has featured countless numbers of notable, popular up and coming artist’s in Nigeria and beyond. He is known for versatility and his the unique style of playing which makes him stand out from other lap steel guitarists.
