Policeman kills his colleague, injures bike rider while dispersing a mob in Lagos

Trouble allegedly started when the said officer tried seizing the bike of a commercial motorcyclist plying a prohibited route.

It was gathered that the culprit put up a resistance and created a scene which attracted a mob who supported him against the policeman. .

At a point, the mob allegedly started pelting the officer with objects, prompting him to cocked his gun and shot into the air.

One of the bullets however caught his colleague in the head, killing him instantly. A motorcyclist riding by was also hit in the leg.
