Court Remands Maina And Son In Prison

Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court Abuja today ordered former chairman of the Pension Reform Task Team (PRTT) Abdulrasheed Maina to be remanded in prison custody pending the commencement of their trial.

Maina who is being arraigned alongside his son Faisal, faces 12-counts bodering on the diversion of pension funds. His son is accused of operating a bank account used to divert various sums of money.

The pair are to remain in custody pending the commencement of their trial on October 30th and November 6th.
